The purpose of a review course is to provide individuals with the opportunity to review the course content within a formal class setting. The participant will have the opportunity to view the video segments, practice and perform the skills for evaluation and complete the written exam(s). This course is based on the 2005 Guidelines.
To be eligible to participate in a review course the participant must have successfully completed prior training. Proof of this training can be verified by showing an American Red Cross certificate or a recognized equivalent certificate. While the American Red Cross recognizes CPR and AED certifications as valid for one year from the original completion date, participants may have an additional twelve months in which they can enter a review course. During this 12 months, the American Red Cross considers the certification card as expired. Individuals that do not have an eligible certificate may not participate in the review course. They can only participate in a full course or a challenge course. Participants will not receive certification or a refund should they fail to pass.
Participants must bring their certificate with them to class for eligibility verification. Certificates will be withheld until verification of eligibility.
Participants must bring their skills cards to class.
Challenge Courses will be available by appointment only for an additional fee. Please call to schedule an appointment. Remember, there is no teaching in a challenge. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to be prepared for the knowledge and skills exams. Participants will not receive certification or a refund should you fail to pass.
