This course is designed to bridge current American Red Cross Instructors in any First Aid and CPR discipline to be Bloodborne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission Instructors. Instructors will train individuals who may come in contact with infectious materials on the job how. Topics include Transmission of disease, employer's exposure control plan, emergency and follow-up procedures, and how to prevent disease transmission.
